Medicare Made Simple (MMS) was founded and is owned by Jay Rayl who started in the Medicare industry in 2006. As a founding member and Senior Regional Manager of TLC Insurance Group, Jay learned both sides of the business — client management and agency development. Even as an agency owner, Jay still works with clients on a daily basis who need help navigating their Medicare and insurance needs.
"Every client is important. Today more than ever, as so many call centers and deceptive mail pieces arrive at our client's homes daily, it is important for me to continue to help individuals determine the right path, and the right plans for their individual needs. It is important to follow one simple rule, Always put the clients needs first. When you do that everything else tends to work itself out."
Over the past two decades, MMS has achieved multiple top honors and awards from various insurance companies, including being a top 3 agency statewide with multiple companies several different years. Beyond the hundreds upon hundreds of personal clients he helps, Jay has also grown Medicare Made Simple into a large Master General Agency helping many independent insurance agents and other agencies learn how to help their own clients. Medicare Made Simple has helped well over 100 agents in multiple states grow in the Medicare insurance industry currently helping over ten thousand clients achieve piece of mind in their insurance choices. Training other agents requires Jay to maintain an exceptionally deep knowledge of Medicare's ever-changing landscape.
Jay has also developed a passion for Medicare advocacy on the legislative front. He has personally met with multiple members of the US congress, their legislative staffers and Ohio legislators in an attempt to fix some of the issues that exist in the Medicare and health insurance space. "Many in this field complain about the problems we see, but don't do anything about it. I realize that for me to be able to properly do my job for the clients and brokers we serve, we must fix parts of the system that are broken. My roll in this industry puts me a unique position to see the problems that exist from all sides and allows me to advise on solutions that truly make sense to all parties."
Family is an important part of any successful business, and Jay is blessed to get to work side by side with his wife Tracy, as she has served on the MMS staff for many years. The two have been married for over 19 years and have 3 children together.
